We are blessed here at Saint James with many opportunities to serve and grow in your faith. Whether you have an hour or more to give, we have a place for you. We have a highly active Social Outreach Committee that fulfils the needs of so many within our community, diocese, and within our parish. There are many opportunities to volunteer, and just to socialize at Parish Picnics and Lenten Fish Fry Fridays.
Find your voice in one of our choirs – we even have one for our youngest members!
With over 3,000 families in our parish, we strive to provide ample choices to strengthen our ties as a faith community – nurturing and developing friendships and faith. Click on one of the boxes at the bottom of the page to learn more information about that ministry.
We welcome all our parishioners to fully participate in the Mass. Those who wish to serve as sacristans, altar servers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, musicians, singers, or ushers click here.
If you are interested in Faith Formation groups (i.e., Bible Studies, Young Professionals, Legion of Mary, Youth Ministry, Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy, Lay Dominicans, Ecumenical-Christian Unity-Planning & Study Group), click here.
We also have a Disability Inclusion Committee that supports the dignity of all human life regardless of age or physical, intellectual, or sensory abilities; promotes awareness and acceptance; strives to ensure full participation in the Mass and Sacraments and full involvement in our Parish community and activities.
