This year, 2023, marks the centennial of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) at Saint James Catholic School. On September 17, 1923, under the leadership of Mother Josepha Clarke, the IHM Sisters began teaching 92 students at Saint James Catholic School.
In honor of the centennial of the IHM Sisters’ teaching mission at Saint James Catholic School, we have decided to reach out to all of our alumni students, parents, and teachers to reconnect and share memories of their time at our award-winning, historic school.
