On behalf of Bishop Burbidge, we are taking up a second collection this weekend, July 18-19, for emergency humanitarian relief for the devastation wrought by the earthquake in Venezuela.
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is working through Caritas Venezuela and the local Catholic Church to deliver emergency shelter, food, safe water, medical care, and other critical relief to those affected. CRS is also accepting direct donations on their website at https://www.crs.org/donate/venezuela-earthquake. As a reminder, parishioners donating by check, should make them payable to the Parish, (not the Catholic Diocese of Arlington or Catholic Relief Services).
