St. James SOC St. Lucy Project Food and Hygiene Drive (June 4th, 10am-2pm, B-Lot)–St. James Social Outreach Committee is hosting a drive to help families throughout the diocese. Inflation and the continued pandemic have made it harder for families living on the margin to buy essential food and hygiene items especially those with young children. As always-drive up, pop your trunk, and our volunteers will do the rest!
Catholic Charities specifically needs:
Foods: Rice (1-2 lb bags), Canned Meat & Tuna, Canned Fruit & Raisins, Pasta & Side dishes, Shelf stable milk, Jam & Jelly, Canned Veggies, Diced tomatoes, Canned Pasta, Pasta Sauce, & Cereal
Hygiene: standard size containers of: shampoo, dish soap , bars of soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes (single packs), laundry detergent (30-50 oz) and razors.
When donating-Please use separate bags/boxes for Foods and Hygiene items.
