11/2-Mass of Remembrance & Novena for All Souls

MASS OF REMEMBRANCE NOVEMBER 2nd

Join us for our Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, November 2nd, at a special noon Mass. This Mass remembers all those who have gone before us since and who we hope to see again.

If you have lost a loved one in the past year since November 2023 and would like to have his or her name listed in the Mass of Remembrance program, email [email protected].

We will include all of those who were remembered at funeral Masses and memorials here at Saint James.

Due to space limitations in our program, please follow these guidelines:

  • Limit your request to only those loved ones who have passed away since November 1, 2023.
  • Submit first name, last name, and suffix, if applicable (i.e., Jack Johnson, Sr.) and the month/year of their passing.
  • Email [email protected] by Friday, October 18th.

NOVENA FOR ALL SOULS

Saint James will pray a daily Novena for nine days for all souls starting at the Noon Mass on Saturday, November 2nd through November 10th. During the nine days, the Novena will be held at the noon Mass except on Saturday, November 9th, when it will be at the 8:30am Mass.

There will be a prayer box in the main and Park Avenue vestibules starting next weekend, October 19-20. The remembrance envelopes will be beside the prayer boxes to list the names of your deceased loved ones for our Novena. Fill out and place the envelope in one of the prayer boxes to have prayers offered for your loved ones.
