VICTIM ASSISTANCE MINISTRY

The Victim Assistance Ministry is a program of outreach to victims/survivors of childhood sexual abuse by clergy, religious or lay employees of the Catholic Church, as well as those abused through incest, by acquaintances or through violent attack. If you or someone in your family has been abused or victimized by someone representing the Catholic Church, we encourage you to contact our Victim Assistance Coordinator at 703-841-2530. WIDOWED CATHOLICS OF ST. JAMES

On Thursday, May 15, the Widowed Catholics of St. James will meet in Msgr. Heller Auditorium from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The special treat that evening will be strawberry shortcake with whipped cream. Put Your Christian Faith into Pro-Life Action: Have you ever heard of a "save"? Come learn how sidewalk counseling saves lives from abortion and hear recordings of how it happens – plus how you can help, whether by counseling or through prayer. NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING

Are you a married or engaged couple interested in learning about responsible parenthood through fertility awareness? Are you hoping to strengthen your marital bond through enhanced communication and greater respect for your spouse?

A certified teaching couple will offer a class on the Sympto-Thermal Method of Natural Family Planning at St. James Catholic Church this spring! The dates of the up-coming class are: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on Mar 30, Apr 27, and May 25, 2008.
